what if

The boston tea party was an act where there was a rebellion. The boston people were angry becasue they could only get tea that came from boston. So they threw it overboard there was about 10,000 pounds worth of british tea.

If the Bostonians didn't throw the tea overboard. The British wouldn't have been as mad at them and there probally wouldn't have been fights. If the British did allow tea from other places than the British Probally would have been 10,000 pounds richer.

Less people would have died and the British would be happier for not loseing so much money. No matter what happend there still would have been tea from other countrys.

Dear: sister
How's the Weather in Saratoga New York. The weather been pretty nice around here. Are you still working on the farm? I am working with the heavy artillery stuff. We are located near the Schuylkill River. It is winter here. How is the weather up there? It has rained 13 days out of 6 weeks and it sucks. The first thing I had to do was help get the workers there tools to build the huts. I had to share a hut with 11 other men, with walls only 6 and a half feet tall. The huts were all cold and unhealthy. You are pretty much just sleeping on the ground. It was really hard to get food and clothes for the soldiers and officers. Transportation was the hardest though, because we had a lot of stuff to carry and they were not to light either. The main thing to do was to keep the soldiers and officers healthy so we can fight. We lost a lot of men due to illness. During the war we were building a hospital so we could take care of the people that were sick. The worst illness we had was small pox. I never got sick though I guess I’m just lucky. In march things started to get much better. There was more food and clothing. In early March there were 70 bakers that came and brought us all gingerbread, and some different food. In April there were schools running. Write back soon little sis. Your Brother,Fred
